2 Tips To Reduce Weight

Healthy eating and losing weight go hand in hand.  If you have a healthy diet then you will have a healthy weight.  If you think you have a healthy diet and are overweight then something is wrong.  Either you are overeating on healthy foods or you are simply not being honest.  Avoiding just food that is termed junk doesn't result in a healthy diet.

A healthy diet is one that is full of fresh raw fruits and vegetables.  Although we are recommended to eat at least 5-a-day when it comes to fruits and vegetables, our bodies actually need a lot more than this.  This article gives you tips on how to up the healthy aspects of your diet, helping you lose weight and feel better.

Eat Fruit Before Every Meal - Why?  Because fruit is nutritious and will make you feel wonderful.  If you aim to eat fruit before every meal you will be more dedicated to it because it doesn't affect the actual meal you will be eating after it (only that you might eat less of it and you won't over eat).  It is also very easy to talk yourself into eating the fruit too because you know you will be having a tasty meal afterwards.  Of course though the more fruit you eat the more you will want to eat anyway, but at first, if we aren't used to eating fruit, we can be almost reluctant.  Fruit though will not only help you feel more satiated, it will also do wonders for your weight and waist line.  Try to aim for 1-5 pieces of the same fruit, e.g. 1-5 apples, 1-5 bananas.  Do this before every meal - try to eat them about 15 minutes to half an hour before.  Treat it as having your dessert first but this way round it is much better for your digestion.
Eat A Large Salad Daily - Vegetables give you a whole set of other nutrients and minerals that fruit can not completely fulfil so it is essential to get a salad into your diet on a daily basis.  Good ways to incorporate one is to have soup for lunch and mix it in with your soup.  Or mix the salad into your main meal.  You could also make sure you have a nice dressing with your salad that isn't high calorie if you really dislike it.

Weight loss doesn't have to be hard, you just need to do the sensible thing and incorporate more fresh raw fruits and vegetables into your diet.  You will be surprised at how much more satiated you will feel and how much less likely it will be that you overeat.
